Boscaí Bróg do dhaoine gan dídean: A total of 20 shoe boxes were donated by Scoil Chaoimhin families, each filled with lots of carefully chosen gifts which made many less well off children very happy Just before Christmas . Comhghairdeas le gach duine a chabhraigh agus le Rachel a d'eagraigh é.
Peil tar éis am scoile: Training for Peil Ghaelach will continue to take place i gColáiste Larkin on Mondays from 3pm -4pm for páistí from R1-R6. Well done to all the children who are coming along. Maith sibh!
Ranganna ar an veidhlín: Violin lessons will continue this term for all classes on Wednesdays.
Feidhlíocht tar eis am scoile: The afterschool continues this term from 1.40 pm -2.40 pm for children in NaionainBheaga/Naionain Mhóra.
Rince ar an Sean-nós: We are very lucky to have the renowned sean-nós dancer Sibéal Davitt with us every week to teach na páistí ar fad ó Naíonain Bheaga go Rang a 6. Children from 1st to 6th class will take part in the Five Lamps Art Festival on the 9th of March in the recreation centre on Sheriff Street. Taimid ag súil go mór leis.
Ealaín agus Ceol: The artist Niamh Lawlor and musician Liam O Maonlaí will be working with the children from the school on a collaborative art/music/dance project during this term.
Timpeallacht na Scoile: Go raibh maith agaibh leis an gCoiste Glas and to all children who are working hard towards our first green flag.Everyone in the school is involved in making a big effort to reduce ,reuse and recycle. Maith sibh go léir leanaigí leis an dea-obair.
Clós na Scoile: We hope to carry out improvements to the school yard in the near future. In the meantime we encourage everyone to to make a big effort to keep our school yard tidy and to help us keep it litter free. If you see a piece of litter please pick it up and put it in the bin . Go raibh maith agaibh.
Cuairt Speisialta go dtí Coláiste na Trionóide:
We are delighted to announce that the children from 1st to 3rd class and the children from 6th class who took part in the SUAS literacy and numeracy programmes will have their SUAS Graduation in Trinity College on 6th of February. Maith sibh uilig a ghlac páirt ann.
Ranganna Yoga do thuismitheoirí: Thanks to the parents from Scoil Chaoimhin who took part in the Yoga classes last term. Go raibh maith agaibh.
Am Léitheoireachta: The Time to Read programme is taking place again this year for the middle classes, with support from volunteers from Irish Life. The company has kindly donated a fine collection of new books to our amazing school library,for which we are most grateful.
Oíche Oscailte: There will be an opening night on the 8th of February for parents who wish to enrol their children in Scoil Chaoimhin next September. If you know of parents with children of school going age please let them know about this. Míle buíochas.
